英语的重要性演讲稿 尊敬的家长: 你们好！欢迎大家在百忙之中抽出时间来到我们英才教育。在这里，我代表英才教育的

全体老师感谢各位。今天我来向各位介绍下英语的重要性。有人曾说过“只会说家乡话，难

以走出家门！只会说中国话，无法面对世界！” ①英语是当今世界上主要的国际通用语言之一，也是世界上最广泛使用的语言。据1986

年的统计，世界上以英语为母语的人近4亿，差不多每十个人中就有一个人讲英语。英国、

美国、加拿大、澳大利亚、新西兰等国家的人都讲英语。世界上约有20个国家把英语作为官

方语言或第二语言使用，共计约有8亿人。也就是说，世界上差不多每五个人中有一个人至

少在一定程度上懂英语。若加上世界各国中小学生学习英语的人数，懂英语的人就更多了。

英语已经成为当今世界数十个国家的官方语言，这些国家独占了全世界70%以上的财富 ? ?

不懂英语就意味着跟这70%的机会无缘。另有一大批原本的非英语国家，如我们的近邻日本

韩国，随着经济起飞，跟国际市场快速融合，英语早已普及化，大众化，大大改变了这些国

家的语言使用面貌。调查显示，在这些国家，英语水平跟个人社会地位等级明显成正比。 ②英语的使用范围非常广泛。世界上70%以上的邮件是用英文写或用英文写地址的。全

世界科技出版物 70% 以上用英语发表。全世界的广播节目中，有60%是用英语进行的。绝大

部分的国际会议是以英语为第一通用语言(90% 以上的国际会议用英语召开),它也是联合国

的正式工作语言之一。总之，在国际政治、军事、经济、科技、文化、贸易、交通运输等领

域，英语是一个重要的交际工具。随着我国对外开放的不断扩大化,科学技术的不断进步,国

际地位的不断提高,迫切需要造就一大批精通外语的专门人才,以加速我国“四化”进程，使

我国在国际事务中发挥更大更积极的作用。因此，学好英语对实现上述目标具有重要的现实

意义和深远的历史意义。 英语是一种国际通用语，不懂英语，在信息交流方面会受到很大的限制。同时研究还表

明，学外语会促进智力的发展。美国耶鲁大学的一位心理学家通过分析研究认为，讲两种语

言的幼少儿比仅会讲一种语言的幼少儿，在脑子的灵活性和解决问题的能力方面均有优势。

语言刺激是促进大脑细胞生长发展的要素。幼少儿期是语言发展的关键期，在这个时期对幼

少儿给予两种语言的刺激，能促进幼儿大脑两半球之间的协调，加强神经细胞之间的联系。

因此，幼少儿期的英语训练对孩子是大有益处的。那么，什么时候学英语最好呢？不少专家

认为6岁以前是获得外语的最佳期。 儿童心理学的研究表明，在幼少儿知觉发展中，首先成熟的是形象思维能力。幼少儿认

汉字也好，认英文也好，实际上都是一种信息刺激的活动，他们把字形当成某一具体形像，

像记糖果、玩具、人的相貌一样记住它们。经过多次反复，这种特殊的“形象”就储存到大

脑中去了。因此幼少儿学外语与成人学外语有很大差别。同时，幼少儿对声音的敏感度较高，

且右脑控制发音器官的能力较强，声带、舌唇等运动神经的调节也具有很大的可塑性，这时

练习说话，更容易掌握发音的技巧。随着年龄的增长，这种能力会逐步下降，给学外语带来

困难。 要使幼儿的英语学习取得成效，关键是要有正确的教学方法。在幼少儿英语学习 中，我们反对“成人式”的英语教学，而主张游戏教学（寓教于乐），让孩子在轻松愉快

i also want to use my good english to introduce our great places to the english

spoken people,i hope that they can love our country like us. i know, rome was not built in a day. i believe that after continuous hard study,

one day i can speak english very well. if you want to be loved, you should learn to love and be lovable. so i believe

商业上最为通用的一门语言并广泛的用于国际贸易。如果我们能说好英语，我们就有更多的
